‘Soreli’ is protected by Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Applications have been submitted to the CPVO Office (granted with no. EU 32814 of June 4, 2012), the US Patent Office (granted with no. PP21,552 P3 of December 7, 2010) and the Plant Registration Offices of Chile (granted with no. 54/10 of September 8, 2010). Applications in South Africa, China New Zealand and other countries are already underway.
In 2008 non-exclusive propagation rights within the European Union were granted to 14 European licensees for a period of 5 years.
In 2013 the propagation rights for the EU where granted to BIOGOLD Intellactual Property.
